In addition, new 2016-2017 state officer candidates were introduced. New chapters were also recognized and it was announced that 400 members participated in an Ohio FFA Fights Hunger event where they packed 95,000 meals for those in need. Ohio FFA members donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals ($18,795 to from Camp Muskingum and $48,669 from chapter donations) and CROP/Church World Services ($13,800 from chapter donations and $1,000 from Camp Muskingum). State officer advisors were recognized, members learned about how to deal with adversity in life from a keynote speaker who emphasized the importance of making good choices and the generosity of Ohio FFA was highlighted. ![]()
